Now -- The old place is still there, I just built around it..

   The old place was heated with a woodstove, The remodeling included a Geothermal Heat Pump
it is now using the pond to heat and cool !! of  course I had the heat pump setup in such a way as to circulate the heat from the wood stove throughout the house.
 

    Being way back in the hills I get no over the air TV, and living too far off the road for cable,     I have a Dish network satellite dish to watch TV, I receive all of the local channels I watched in NJ plus about 70 more, not including the pay per views and all of the premium movie channels all this from an 18" dish .


  Hi My name is George and after retiring from my job as a TV Broadcast engineer I moved to the eastern panhandle of West Virginia from the state of Taxes (New Jersey)..

    I've been a radio amateur (first licensed in 1954) I've held the same call K2EWL all these years. I haven't been too active however, my longwire fell down, my 50 foot tower and 4 element tri-bander haven't been put up yet the only operating I do is mobile on the local KK3L 146.745
Repeater.
 

   I do some target shooting, reloading, hunting and fishing. I stocked the pond with some channel cats. The bass, sunfish and mud cats were already there. I've been a NRA member for a number of years and one of my reasons for moving here was to regain my 2nd amendment freedoms.
